‘Bag It’ film screening (1st March)

Thursday 1st March 2018
7.30pm at The Globe Cinema
Tickets ¬£7.50 from The Globe box office and Sally’s Newsagents

Bag It is an entertaining, amusing and motivating film about a serious subject that is rather topical. It documents the life of an average guy who makes a resolution to stop using plastic bags at the local grocery store. Little does he know that this simple decision will change his life completely.

He comes to the conclusion that our consumptive use of all single-use plastic has finally caught up with us, and looks at what we can do about it. Today. Right now.

While Bag It is a film that deals with a serious subject, the film’s tone and mood is kept light to keep audiences engaged and entertained. Bag It draws in a broad range of people to the film, not just environmentalists. While many environmental films leave viewers disheartened and feeling helpless, Bag It will leave viewers feeling empowered, informed, and excited to create change starting today!

There is a lot going on in and around Chagford to reduce our plastic use, involving local people, shops, businesses and producers. Check out the Chagford Residents Against Plastic Facebook page for news, information, discussion, ideas and advice.
