This touching Korean film depicts the unusual group of people who come together around the fate of one baby that’s mysteriously given up for adoption on the black market. The viewer is drawn into unexpectedly identifying with some supposedly bad characters – the baby “traffickers”, the child’s mother – as we follow their adventures, and gradually understand more and more about the complexity of choices they face. This entertaining and funny film is also a surprisingly profound experience which will stay with you.
