Marc-Andre Leclerc was a Canadian solo climber – he used no ropes – and preferred to stay away from the public eye whilst making some of the boldest and most dangerous first ascents in history. This documentary follows him into the remote mountains of Patagonia and the Canadian Rockies, with dizzying footage of his legendary climbs, trying to capture his passion for living life in the moment. Leclerc comes across as a true nonconformist who would never fit into mainstream society but felt uniquely at home on a precarious mountain ledge high above the world.
