Loving Vincent is the world’s first fully painted feature film. It tells the story of the last years of Vincent van Gogh’s life and was a nominee for ‘Best Animated Feature Film’ at the 2018 Academy Awards.  Each of this movie’s 65,000 frames is an oil painting on canvas, using the same technique as Vincent van Gogh, created by a team of one hundred painters. 

The film will start at 10:30am to allow art lovers time to get to Jubilee Hall to enjoy Vermeer: The Greatest Exhibition.
