Chagford Film Festival takes place in a variety of venues in and around Chagford.
A lovely pub in the heart of Chagford, winner of ‘South West Community Pub of the Year 2012’.
Films are shown in the upstairs cinema where there is seating for 60 people. Talks and workshops take place here too.
A 16th century building on the edge of the town square (next door to the Three Crowns pub), given its name in the early 1990s in honour of the pilgrim father and governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony, John Endecott, who lived in Chagford before leaving for the New World.
Chagford’s main hall, with a seated capacity of 150 people. Within easy walking distance of the town centre and with a large car park next door for easy access.
Chagford’s historic parish church of St Michael the Archangel lies in the heart of the town. A beautiful, atmospheric place to experience a film screening with wonderful acoustics.
Chagford town square is in the very centre of the town and hosts various outdoor performances.
