Introduced by the Director, award-winning Polly Steele.
Professional rugby union player Ed Jackson was playing at the highest level when, in 2017, he broke his neck and suffered spinal cord damage in an accident. Paralyzed from the neck down and told by doctors that he would never walk again, he decides to rebuild his life by giving himself a goal: to climb a mountain. The film follows Ed and his wife Lois as they work together to make this happen and talk openly about the challenges of life with a disability. We are delighted to have the film’s director, award-winning Polly Steele, here with us to introduce the film.
