For the first time in our history, the Film Festival invites you to a unique cinematic experience – to arrive and leave at any point in this film that you choose!  In 2023, the Rijksmuseum of Amsterdam hosted the biggest ever exhibition of Vermeer’s paintings – and was almost immediately sold out. Fortunately, this film takes a tour of the celebrated paintings: described by the Guardian as “best seats in the house for a sold-out show”, the film offers glowing, leisurely close-ups of such famous works as The Girl With a Pearl Earring, The Milkmaid, The Geographer and many, many more.
